My son will be 8yrs old on Christmas this year and like every kid he wants a drone. A DRONE! We looked and looked and he just couldn't fly one that within our price range. He was crashing into everything! Most of those drones either didn't have an altitude hold function or it was so terrible that you had to constantly adjust it to make sure you didn't crash.

I thought "I'll try one more before I give up on the drone idea." I probably had 10 different ones sitting in my cart. I decided to purchase this one now so I could test it out and send it back before the Christmas rush if it didn't work out. It's so easy to fly! Here's my thoughts on it:

1) The carrying case has a foam insert that helps keep everything in its own place.
2) The batteries charge with a USB cable. No special adapter needed!
3) There was 8 replacement rotors included and a tool for replacing them.
4) There's a rotor guard you can put on or take off.
5) You do NOT need a phone to fly the drone. The pictures made me think the phone might be required but it's not!
6) You can turn on obstacle avoidance to prevent yourself from running into things.
7) The altitude hold is pretty awesome. I was able to set the controller down to take these two pictures without it moving.

When you first start flying the drone make sure you keep track of the direction the drone is facing and make minor adjustments as you learn how to control it. I found myself turning my body to face the same direction as the drone so that when I pressed the "forward" button it made sense to me. After about 10minutes of practice I was flying it all throughout the house. (Because come on.... Dad has to know how to fly it before Christmas. :D )

I recently purchased this drone and am very satisfied with its performance and functionality. This drone offers a great flying experience and is a good go-to choice for capturing aerial shots and videos for beginners. The drone also offers a live video feed that can be streamed to a phone, providing a fantastic real-time aerial perspective. It is also very easy to set up and learn! I had a bunch of fun learning to fly it, which has a bit of a learning curve, but the one-key takeoff and landing function makes the process easier. It is very maneuverable, with the 360 flip function, and is generally very sturdy for the price. The altitude hold function is also useful for stabilizing your videos and photos. The only drawback I would say the drone has is the range, but keep it relatively within sight, and you should be good. All in all, this is a great product for new and experienced drone users for photos, videos, or just to have fun with!

It’s a pretty nice drone. It’s not anything like the DJI but it’s simple enough and pretty fun if you are novice. If you want something small and want to use it for shooting content for social media, this drone does the trick. The two batteries are a plus as it does run out of battery quick. I would recommend it if you want to give it as a gift or don’t want to invest too much in getting an expensive drone. You can also just use it as a toy to just fly around…the quality is pretty decent.
