The DarwinFPV BabyApe III is a 3 inch freestyle FPV drone frame designed for lightweight, compact builds across the BabyApe III Series (2'' Mini, 3'' Standard, and 3.5'' Pro). The frame uses a Wide-X layout and a one-piece molded structure to improve durability and simplify assembly for beginners and daily freestyle practice.

Key Features

  • T300 carbon fiber structure, with manufacturer-stated rubber paint coating on the carbon plate for a smoother surface finish.
  • Battery roll cage protection to help secure the battery during impacts; fits 16–20 mm wide batteries (other sizes can be mounted externally using reserved strap holes on the base plate).
  • Multiple VTX installation options: supports analog VTX, Walksnail Avatar VTX, DJI O4 VTX, or no VTX.
  • Dual motor mount compatibility: supports both common 3-hole and 4-hole motor mount patterns.
