12 V and 24 V Performance References
These are winding-specific reference tables, not selectable voltage SKUs. Figures vary with operating conditions. Torque is kgf·cm. The 35 kgf·cm entries are gearbox maximum permitted load/test limits, not additional continuous torque ratings. Stall current is not continuous operating current.

12 V reference: no-load current ≤300 mA, rated current ≤1.5 A, stall current ≤8 A, 19 W table heading. 24 V reference: no-load current ≤400 mA, rated current ≤2.3 A, stall current ≤15 A, 80 W table heading. Size the motor driver and supply for actual startup/stall demand; the high-current reference calls for a supply rated above 10 A where applicable. Do not connect motor voltage to encoder pins.
Encoder Wiring and Counts
The connector exposes motor M1/M2, encoder VCC/GND and A/B signals. Supply the encoder with 3.3 V or 5 V only. Confirm pin order on the actual connector before wiring. Green encoder PCB: 17 base pulses per motor revolution; black PCB: 11 base pulses. Output pulses depend on actual gearbox ratio and counting method. Do not confuse pulses with quadrature edge counts.
Dimensions and Installation
The gearbox length is approximately 19–29 mm across the series. Confirm the selected ratio assembly length because the grouped drawing and individual performance length rows differ. Support the load and avoid excessive radial/axial forces, blocked output and prolonged stall. Disconnect power before reversing direction or servicing. A geared encoder motor requires an external motor driver and controller for closed-loop motion.
Package Contents
One selected-ratio motor with matching lead as pictured. Bracket, power supply and motor controller are not included. Confirm the required winding voltage before fulfillment.
Applications
Robotics, balancing platforms, camera mechanisms and automation prototypes needing geared rotation with pulse feedback.
FAQ
Does the ratio identify 12 V or 24 V?
No. Confirm the required winding separately before fulfillment; the reference tables describe both families.
Is every encoder 17 PPR?
No. Inspect the green or black encoder PCB and verify the actual count before configuring feedback scaling.
