Overview
The D-Robotics RDK GS130W / GS130WI is a binocular stereo global shutter camera module for robotic vision, machine vision inspection, and real-time motion monitoring. It is based on a MIPI interface and uses two SC132GS global shutter sensors with binocular synchronous exposure and external triggering. It supports a single-channel resolution of 1280×1080 with a maximum output frame rate of 120 fps, and features high dynamic range (HDR), 40 dB signal-to-noise ratio, and 850/940 nm near-infrared enhancement capabilities.
Key Features
- Dual global shutter sensors: 2 × SC132GS (1/4-inch CMOS, Global Shutter) with binocular synchronous exposure and external triggering.
- High-speed stereo capture: 1280 × 1080, up to 1280×1080@120FPS.
- Optics: 1.75 mm focal length, F2.0 aperture; Field of View (FOV) Diagonal 157.2° / Horizontal 96.8° / Vertical 115.6° ±3°.
- Low-noise imaging: 40 dB SNR; supports HDR.
- MIPI RAW output: MIPI CSI-2, 8/10/12-bit RAW.
- Robust structure: Semi-enclosed metal housing designed to enhance durability, reduce deformation-related accuracy loss, and improve heat dissipation.
- IMU option (GS130WI only): Integrated ICM-42688-P 6-axis IMU for real-time, synchronous linear acceleration and angular velocity data (for use cases such as camera pose estimation, collision detection, and robotic motion monitoring).

Compatibility & Setup Notes
- Compatibility comparison: GS130W is compatible with RDK X5 and RDK S100/S100P; GS130WI only supports RDK X5 and does not support RDK S100/S100P.
- Connection note: Do not reverse the connections; otherwise the left and right images will be swapped, which can cause errors in the binocular algorithm.
- RDK X5 connection: No expansion board required; the camera module can directly connect to RDK X5.
- RDK S100(P) connection (GS130W): Requires an RDK S100(P) camera expansion board.
