Overview

DarwinFPV HULK 45A 3-6S AIO is an AIO flight controller/ESC with an integrated SPI receiver, designed as the default AIO for the HULK Waterproof Cinematic FPV Drone and also suitable for the FPVCYCLE TOOTHFAIRY 2 frame. It integrates an F411 FC, a 45A ESC, and a 2.4GHz SPI receiver, and is recommended for 4–5 inch quadcopters. The board uses an aluminum alloy potting process with IP67 protection for waterproof and dustproof performance.

Key Features

• Aluminum alloy potted design with high thermal conductivity silica gel for heat dissipation and environmental protection (IP67).
• Built-in F411 flight controller + 3–6S 45A ESC + 2.4GHz SPI receiver (RF chip: SX1281).
• Short-circuit protection on each interface; if one interface is protected, other interfaces can continue to work normally.
• Plug-and-play interfaces reserved for Analog camera, Analog VTX (with SA/SmartAudio pin), CADDX VISTA KIT air terminal (HD VTX), SBUS port, and UART1.
• DFU mode note on the board: enable Expert Mode in Betaflight and select “Activate Boot Loader / DFU” to enter.

Firmware Notes & Precautions

• Seawater is highly corrosive; use in seawater is not recommended. If it contacts seawater, rinse with fresh water and dry promptly.
• Supports 3–6S battery input. Do not reverse battery polarity, otherwise the board may be damaged.
• After receiving the AIO, connect to Betaflight to check that the gyroscope and accelerometer are detected and the gyro attitude is normal.
• When testing motor direction in Betaflight, remove propellers to reduce risk of injury or damage.
• Betaflight 4.3 firmware supports ELRS 2.0. For ELRS 3.0, an upgrade to Betaflight 4.4 may be required; development firmware can introduce unknown issues. The updated firmware name referenced is BETAFPVF4SX1280, and previous CLI may not be usable after updating.
