Overview

DarwinFPV HULK III Mini Frame is a mini frame platform from DarwinFPV’s “HULK” series, designed around a roll-cage style structure for added protection of the battery area and float mounting positions. The series is described with an IP67 waterproof rating and uses 304 stainless steel screws for seawater resistance. Based on the CineApe 35 frame, HULK III Mini adopts a single-float design intended to maximize propeller airflow intake and reduce wind resistance for more stable flight in windy conditions.

Single-float design

• Single-float structure designed to avoid blocking propeller airflow intake while minimizing wind resistance for smoother footage capture and reduced power consumption.
• Described as capable of withstanding level-7 strong winds for offshore windy conditions.

Flexible installation

• Two battery mounting options: top or bottom.
• Water-based flights: attach floats on top and mount the battery at the bottom; described to automatically correct its “turtle position” (flip back to normal) after landing in water.
• Regular flights: remove floats and mount the battery on top.
