Noozle3D 3D-Printed DJI FPV Goggle Shims/Wedges – Light Leak Reduction Mod for Top & Sides

Overview

These DJI FPV goggle shims / wedges are 3D-printed inserts designed to reduce light leak across the top and sides of DJI FPV Goggles. The 3D prints are designed and printed by Noozle3D, based on a shim design by Kwboost.

• Designed to reduce light leak across the top and sides of DJI FPV Goggles (stated reduction: 95%).
• 3D-printed wedge/shim fitment that installs between the goggles and the foam cushion.
• Installs using the original Velcro ends plus double-sided stick tape (tape not included).
• Optional heat gun use can help with Velcro repositioning during installation.

Tools Needed

• Razor blade
• Double-sided stick tape
• Heat gun (optional)

Installation

1. Remove the foam cushion from the goggles.
2. Position the wedge (smooth side down) on the goggles, then cut the original Velcro on each end of the shim with a razor blade.
3. Gently remove the Velcro from the goggles and reattach it to the rough side of the shim (can be removed with a heat gun and does not lose stick).
4. Mount the smooth side of the shim to the goggle with double-stick tape (not included).
5. Reattach the foam cushion.

If this item is ordered in any color other than black, it may allow for some light leak through the filament.
