Overview
The BETAFPV ELRS Micro Receiver is a 2.4GHz ExpressLRS (open-source) RC receiver designed for fixed-wing models and other RC model types. It supports 5-channel PWM outputs and can also be used with CRSF output, offering a plug-and-play installation approach for PWM-based setups.
Key Features
- ExpressLRS 2.4GHz ISM receiver (ExpressLRS / ELRS)
- 5 CH PWM outputs
- Serial output protocol: PWM or CRSF
- Failsafe value configuration via receiver WiFi
- U.FL (I-PEX MHF) antenna interface with T antenna

Note: The Micro receiver supports flashing CRSF output firmware; in that case, CH2 corresponds to TX and CH3 corresponds to RX.
Firmware note: A provided note states the Micro receiver firmware version manufactured is ELRS 3.3.0, which is not compatible with 2.x. The TX module and receiver must be on the same major ELRS version to bind and operate correctly.
Binding Procedure
The Micro receiver comes with officially major release V2.0.0 protocol and has not been set for a Binding Phrase. Ensure the RF TX module is on officially major release V2.0.0 protocol and no Binding Phrase has been set beforehand.
- Enter binding mode by plugging in and unplugging the Micro receiver three times.
- Double flashing LED indicates bind mode.
- Put the RF TX module or radio transmitter into binding mode to send a binding pulse.
- Solid LED indicates successful binding.
Note: After a successful bind, the receiver stores binding information and will auto-connect on later use. If reflashing with a Binding Phrase, the TX module must use the same Binding Phrase for auto-bind.
Failsafe and PWM Output
When the radio link is lost, failsafe adjusts channels to user-defined failsafe values. This is important when operating without a flight controller (for example, RC fixed-wing models).
- Power on the Micro receiver and wait 20 seconds without binding.
- When the indicator flashes quickly, receiver WiFi is activated.
- Connect via phone/computer.
- WiFi Name: ExpressLRS RX
- WiFi PWD: expresslrs
- Open: http://10.0.0.1 and set failsafe values.
Note: Failsafe values are absolute and do not use the "invert" flag.
LED Status
| Indicator status | Meaning |
| Solid on | Connected successfully |
| Double flashing | Binding status |
| Flashing slowly | Connection fail |
| Flashing quickly | WIFI upgrade status |

Details

A compact 2.4GHz ExpressLRS micro receiver designed for simple PWM-based installs on fixed-wing models.

The small 32×19mm footprint helps fit the receiver into tight fuselages and compact RC builds.

Clear pad labeling supports PWM output wiring and optional CRSF serial connections when needed.

Failsafe values can be set per channel, which is especially useful when running without a flight controller.
