Overview
HDZero Camera Switcher 2 is a camera switcher board that lets a single HDZero VTX run two HDZero MIPI cameras and switch between them instantly during operation. In the default configuration, setup is plug-and-play: connect the MIPI cables and assign Camera Control 1 to a switch in Betaflight, iNav, or ArduPilot (no soldering required in Standard Mode).
It enables use cases such as day vs night vision (IR-cut vs IR-cut-removed cameras), forward vs downward views, rear-view cameras on RC cars, or wide vs zoom lenses. Switching is nearly instantaneous when using two cameras of the same generation. Advanced builders can also use VTX-only control, manual GPIO control, and daisy-chaining to run more than two cameras.
