Overview

The JHEMCU VTX30-800 is a 5.8G FPV video transmitter (VTX) module designed for analog FPV image transmission. It supports selectable RF power from 25–800mW and provides standard 5-band / 8-channel operation with onboard status indication LEDs for power, band, and channel.

Wiring Notes (as shown)

• When flight controller OSD is required: connect the flight controller Video Out and GND to the VTX video and ground, and power the VTX from INPUT 7–26V; connect flight controller TX to IRC.
• When flight controller OSD is not required: connect the camera video directly to the VTX video and use the VTX +5V OUT / GND for camera power where applicable; power the VTX from INPUT 7–26V; connect flight controller TX to IRC.

Everything needed to add 5.8G analog video to a build: VTX module, wiring harness, MMCX-to-RP-SMA pigtail, and antenna.

Use the included MMCX-to-RP-SMA adapter to run common RP-SMA FPV antennas from the onboard MMCX connector.

The compact board includes a plug-in cable and clear silkscreen labeling for quick power, video, and IRC control hookups.

Front-and-back views help confirm fitment, solder pad access, and mounting-hole alignment on your stack.

Silkscreened pads make it easy to wire DC input, video signal, and IRC Tramp control from a flight controller.

Betaflight can be configured for IRC Tramp so band, channel, and power can be changed from the OSD.

Two wiring options are provided depending on whether the flight controller OSD is used or the camera feeds the VTX directly.
