Overview
BetaFPV LAVA 550mAh 75C LiHV battery (2PCS), available in 2S/3S/4S versions with XT30 connector for FPV quadcopter power setups. It uses a Z-Folding process cell design, with rated voltages of 7.6V (2S), 11.4V (3S), and 15.2V (4S).

Z-Folding Process
The Z-Folding Process battery design is described as enabling efficient high-current discharge in shorter time frames and providing elevated discharge platforms. It is stated to deliver a 0.2V higher discharge platform under equivalent loads and a 5% higher energy density within the same volume, along with extended cycle life. The process allows customization of electrode sizes based on battery dimensions to optimize battery size and shape.

Warning
- Please fully charge the new battery before use.
- Only use a charger designed for lithium polymer/Li-ion battery, and never leave the battery unattended during the charging process.
- Always keep the battery away from flammable and explosive materials while charging.
- Never overcharge the battery. The maximum voltage for a LiPo battery is 4.2V per cell, and for a LiHV battery is 4.35V per cell.
- Never discharge the battery to a level below 3V per cell under load.
- Do not store fully charged batteries for more than 3 days. For long-term storage, maintain the voltage between 3.8V and 3.9V.
- Do not disassemble, crush, short circuit, or expose to flame or other sources of ignition.
- Do not use batteries that are deformed or swollen.

Choose 2S, 3S, or 4S power in a compact 550mAh LiHV pack built around the LAVA Z‑Folding cell design and an XT30 lead.

Lead clearance is easy to plan with the listed 40mm lead length and 25mm vertical height, plus the pack’s 67mm body length.

3S sizing stays slim for tight builds while keeping the same XT30 discharge connector and JST‑XH2.54 balance plug.

Step up to 4S voltage without changing your connector standard—XT30 for discharge and JST‑XH2.54 for balance charging.

A 33A discharge curve is provided for the 3S 550mAh 75C pack to help compare voltage behavior under load.
