Overview
The RadioMaster ERS-CU01 is a real-time current sensor (telemetry module) for use with compatible ExpressLRS PWM receivers. Installed inline between the battery and ESC, it measures real-time operating current and voltage and sends the data through the ExpressLRS receiver for display on your EdgeTX radio. As part of the ERS sensor family, it also supports pass-through expansion for daisy-chaining additional ERS sensors.

Most PWM ExpressLRS receivers can work with ERS sensors. Receivers without a dedicated UART port require reconfiguration to support external sensors by reassigning two PWM output pins as a serial UART (TX and RX) via the receiver Web UI (WiFi mode) or the ExpressLRS LUA script. For receivers that only provide standard servo pins, an optional adapter cable can convert the sensor UART connector to two standard servo plugs (TX and RX).
Sensor Configuration & Telemetry Logging
To configure the sensor and view telemetry on EdgeTX, install the RadioMaster Sensor Configurator LUA (RM Sensor Configurator). Copy the LUA files to:
/SCRIPTS/TOOLS/
Battery capacity must be set in mAh for telemetry.

Details

Monitor real-time current draw and pack voltage on your EdgeTX radio by installing the ERS-CU01 inline between the battery and ESC.

Use the RM Sensor Configurator LUA tool in EdgeTX to discover sensors, set battery capacity (mAh), and manage updates.

ERS sensors appear as separate telemetry sources, making it easy to add current alongside other ERS modules in one model.

Battery capacity can be entered directly in the configurator to enable more accurate consumption and logging on compatible radios.

In/out ports support pass-through expansion, so additional ERS sensors can be daisy-chained without extra receiver ports.

Live current and voltage telemetry helps spot power system issues and tune your setup with real load data.

Plug-and-play support depends on the receiver’s available UART; some PWM receivers may need pin reassignment or an adapter cable.

Compact 30 × 25 × 10.5 mm form factor fits cleanly in builds where wiring space is limited.
