Overview

The SkyRC NC1500 is an AA/AAA battery charger & analyzer designed for NiMH AA and AAA cells. It features four independent slots, allowing 1–4 batteries to be charged at the same time in any combinations, with selectable CHARGE, DISCHARGE and REFRESH modes.

  • Discharge Mode: discharging current adjustable 100mA / 250mA / 350mA / 500mA / 650mA; useful for analyzing the amount of charge stored in the battery (battery not recharged at the end of the cycle)
  • Refresh MODE: first recharges the battery, rests for one hour, discharges, rests, then recharges again; charging and discharging rates are programmable; reports the discharge capacity at the end of the cycle; useful when the battery capacity needs to be determined and for batteries with degraded performance
• LCD display for battery voltage, current, capacity, elapsed time and internal resistance
• Battery internal resistance detection: at the start of a program, the device performs a quick standard test to determine internal battery resistance; values are estimates and vary depending on battery state and operating environment
