Wiring & Betaflight Setup (Example)
- Connect receiver pads to the flight controller: GND to GND, 5V to 5V, TX to FC RX, RX to FC TX.
- In Betaflight Configurator “Ports”: enable the corresponding UART (example shown: UART2) as Serial Rx (Configuration/MSP shown at 115200).
- In “Configuration”: set Receiver Mode to “Serial Digital Receiver”, and set Serial Receiver Provider (Serial ReceiverProvider) to “CRSF”.
Binding
- The receiver enters the frequency matching state by being powered on three times in a row.
- Note: Once the receiver is bound, it will remember the information and will automatically connect successfully after restarting without the need to re-bind.
- Turn off the remote control.
- Repeatedly power on the receiver three times; the receiver light flashes twice, indicating frequency matching mode.
- Turn on the remote control, enter the LUA operation interface of ExpressLRS, and select the [BIND] button to confirm.
- The receiver indicator light stays constantly on, indicating successful frequency matching.
LED Indicator Meanings
| Rainbow color gradient | Power on self test |
| Green and orange lights flash alternately | Enter WiFi upgrade mode |
| Red light flashing fast | No RF chip detected |
| Orange dual flash | Crossover Mode |
| Orange triple flash | Connected, but does not match the settings in model match |
| Orange slow flash | Waiting for connection |
| Always on | Connected |
