Overview
The iFlight Centurion X8 FPV Frame Kit is a cinelifter FPV frame kit developed in collaboration with the pilots and engineers from 2RAW Aerials. It uses an A-frame design with trusses to achieve high stiffness while managing weight, and integrates an AeroShell with a camera mount to support demanding aerial filming builds.
Key Features
- Advanced truss arms: A-frame design combined with trusses for stiffness and weight management.
- Adjustable camera mount: 10 to 50° angle adjustment; made from 7075 aero-grade aluminium; elevated camera position to keep propellers out of view; supported on both horizontal and vertical axes to help reduce payload resonance.
- AeroShell airflow management: Intake airflow designed to help cool the ESC area, with rear exhaust paths; shell acts as an air divider at higher speeds and helps block dirt from entering the electronics area.
- Thermal cooling design: Shell promotes direct airflow across electronics; description notes an aluminum heatsink and fan assembly on an O3 Air Unit to help prevent overheating (air unit not included).
- Quick-release battery system: Uses battery straps and carbon plates to speed up battery swaps without individual tie-downs.
