Overview
The iFlight GM8112-80T Encoder Combo Set is a gimbal encoder combo set designed for brushless 3-axis gimbal stabilizers. Encoders are sensors added to each brushless gimbal motor to track motor position more accurately, improving stabilization performance and helping increase battery efficiency.
In a brushless gimbal control system, stabilization combines passive inertial stabilization (requiring good camera balance across Pan/Tilt/Roll axes) and active stabilization, where sensors measure axis motion and motors counteract that motion in real time.
