Overview

The iFlight Commando 8 Pro radio transmitter is a dual-band 2.4GHz + 900MHz/868MHz ELRS controller designed for robust long-range links and improved anti-interference performance. It uses dedicated dual-band antennas and supports simultaneous dual-band operation with up to 1W output power per band.

It supports multiple RF packet modes and includes an FSK mode intended for racing, combining control and telemetry into a single link.

• 3 transmission modes: Gemini, True Diversity, and Gemini Xrossband RF modes
• Multi-packet redundancy: DK mode (DK500) transmits identical packets on two different frequencies simultaneously
• Battery life and charging: up to 3 hours at 1W output, around 6 hours at 100mW; PD 20W fast charging, fully charged in 80 minutes
• Simulator support: Type-C wired and Bluetooth connections; compatible with Liftoff, Velocidrone, DRL, and Uncrashed
• High-precision digital hall gimbals for smooth and accurate control
• Mode switching without disassembly: adjust rear rubber pad with a screwdriver to switch between mode 1 and mode 2, then change gimbal mode in the EdgeTX menu
• Onboard backpack module: supports wireless features such as VTX, LED, OSD, and MAVLink menu
• Compatible with TBS TX module
