The MAD 12S 30Ah drone solid state lithium-ion battery (semi-solid system) is designed for high power density and lightweight UAV power use. It features a solid electrolyte approach intended to deliver smaller size with higher energy density, longer life, and increased safety. Rated markings include 12S 30000mAh, 44.4V, and 1332Wh.

  • Semi-solid system / solid electrolyte concept for improved safety and energy density.
  • Material innovation: ionic conductor additives for improved ionic conductivity and high-rate performance; lithium source additives to improve the first effect of the material; double lithium salt electrolyte formula considering high/low temperature, circulation, and cell electrochemical properties.
  • Design optimization: material ratio adjustment (high nickel and lithium cobalt in the positive electrode; silicon in the negative electrode) to improve energy density and support cell safety/life.
  • Optimized compaction density and particle size to reduce volume expansion in the late cycle.
  • Custom auxiliary materials optimization (earpieces and aluminum-plastic film) to further enhance cell energy density per requirements.
  • Safety improvement: surface flame-retardant coating on the diaphragm; flame-retardant additives in the electrolyte; semi-solid system for cell safety.
  • Reinforced pack protection: four 0.5 mm thick FR4 fiberglass panels on the outside of the pack; protection capability stated as increased by 87%.
  • Bottom strengthening: 2 mm thick EVA shock-absorbing foam at the bottom of the pack.
  • Hard pack form with square/flat appearance and accurate outline size control; fixed-position cable outlet area for controlled cable routing.

Battery storage conditions and precautions

  • Keep away from flammable materials when storing.
  • Do not disassemble and assemble the battery.
  • If the battery has been charged and broken, dispose of it promptly; it cannot be used again.
  • If the battery emits odor, heat, discoloration, deformation, or any abnormality during use, storage, or charging, immediately remove the battery from the device or charger and disable it.

Battery charging conditions and precautions

  • Do not charge at a current greater than 2C.
  • Use a qualified smart charger.
  • Someone must be present during the charging process.
  • Keep away from flammable materials when charging.
  • Avoid overcharging; it may cause serious safety incidents.
  • Avoid connecting the positive and negative electrodes together; it can cause a short circuit and serious safety incidents.

Scope of non-free repair services

  • Battery damage and injury caused by failure to operate according to the prompts shall be borne by the user.
  • Battery damage caused by artificial overcharge and overdischarge cannot be replaced.
