Equipped with BLHeli-S firmware, this ESC (Electronic Speed Control) boasts fast response speed and exceptional performance. It features two auto-detection modes for throttle signals, supporting pulse width PWM protocols including one-shot 125 (125-250us), one-shot 42 (41.7-83.3us), and multi-shot (5-25us). Additionally, it offers auto-braking functionality, which enables high efficiency by quickly slowing down the motor when the throttle is pulled down. The ESC also features an aluminum radiator for enhanced cooling performance, capable of handling up to 16A at 32A, as well as supporting 4A at 5.8V.
This product features a BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) designed for Lipo batteries, with a weight size of 10S and applications including 3D/4D flight modes. The ESC (Electronic Speed Control) has a power output of 16A and supports up to 2x OA (Output Amplifier) configurations. Additional specifications include a voltage range of 2-45V, current draw of 8.5g, and dimensions of 12x24x6.2mm. The motor is suitable for fixed-wing aircraft and includes a wiring diagram.
The ESC performs well after power-up, and all adjustable parameters can be set using the BLHeliSuite software.
Directional changes in rotation can significantly impact bidirectional settings. The actual power output depends on input throttle, but it's essential that the minimum value does not fall below one-quarter of the maximum power. In terms of motor timing, medium settings generally meet most requirements. However, high timing can provide a longer window for demagnetization, which can help alleviate issues related to this topic.
If the demag compensation parameter is set too high, the maximum power will drop slightly; technically speaking, this means that even when the maximum acceleration is set to its highest value, the acceleration is not limited.
This ESC will emit a warning tone when there is no throttle signal for an extended period. The tone's volume can be adjusted. Prolonged high-pitched warnings can cause increased heat in the ESC and motor. Furthermore, the delay before the warning tone sounds can be set to approximately 4-6 seconds.
Please note that the throttle calibration cannot be adjusted once this function has been disabled. The throttle position settings determine the throttle's responsiveness, which typically responds to an input signal of 1000-2000 microseconds. Any other input signals should be interpreted proportionally.
Inadequate power management can lead to desynchronization, causing damage to both the motors and ESCs. Additionally, low voltage protection can be either disabled or set to operate within a range of 2.5V to 4.0V for LiPo battery safety.
The setup screen displays no effect when the NZ throttle is set. The 16A ESC features three LED color options. The NO-Damped Mode can be toggled between OFF (no braking) and ON (braking). Additionally, music settings are available for normal startup processes, which include powering on and detecting a throttle signal. To get started, follow these steps: Once you've completed the calibration process, it will indicate 'OK' to proceed with throttling.
The 'Throttle Range Calibration' indicator in the flight controller's (FC) parameter adjustment software sequence now shows a stable and consistent reading, indicating that the minimum throttle value has been successfully recognized.
Throttle calibration is necessary when operating in DShot mode. If your motor exhibits abnormal behavior or requires higher RPM, we recommend using the BLHeli-32 firmware.
