Walksnail Ascent FPV VRX is an FPV VRX (digital video receiver) for the Ascent HD system, designed to output HD video over HDMI to compatible FPV goggles, monitors, or TVs. It supports end-to-end latency as low as 35ms and high-frame-rate decoding up to 1080p/60fps and 720p/120fps for smooth, responsive viewing.

  • Adaptive Frequency Hopping: Runs on 3 standard channels, with up to 8 channels in Debug mode; automatically scans and switches to the cleanest channel.
  • Dual-antenna reception: Supports dual circular polarization; antenna VSWR ≤ 1.3 and radiation efficiency ≥ 97% (antenna spec).
  • MicroSD recording: Built-in Micro SD card slot; supports Micro SD up to 256G. Recording format: MP4 (H.264).
  • OSD integration: Supports Canvas Mode for OSD integration with Betaflight and INAV.
  • Wide voltage input: 7.4~25.2V power input.
  • Ascent VTX compatibility note: The Ascent VRX is exclusively compatible with Ascent VTX.
  • Display note: Fast Decoding requires a High Frame Rate compatible display. Unsupported devices may cause display errors. To reset to 720p/60fps, long press the Back button for 8 seconds.
