XLeRobot 0.3.0 is an open-source dual-arm mobile household robot kit designed to make embodied AI affordable and practical. Important Notes Before Purchase

Embodied intelligence for home robots is still an emerging technology and cannot yet deliver fully autonomous housekeeping. XLeRobot is a general-purpose mobile dual-arm embodied AI development platform, not a plug-and-play consumer appliance.

Buyers should have basic experience with Linux (Ubuntu), macOS development, GitHub and Python. Beginners can get started within about a week using online tutorials and AI assistants, but we strongly recommend reading the official documentation and trying the ManiSkill simulation demos on the XLeRobot website before ordering. If you have never used Ubuntu, you can follow community tutorials to install it as a dual-boot system on your Windows PC.

Control Devices (Not Included)

The kit does not include any control device. The official XLeRobot site provides example control code for:

• Meta Quest 3 VR

You can also use the official Hugging Face master–follower arm control system (master arms purchased separately). Please choose and purchase your own controllers according to your needs.

Power Supply and Trolley (Not Included)

• No battery or power bank is included. We recommend a high-power USB-C power bank or mobile power supply with at least two Type-C ports, each supporting 65 W fast charging or higher, and a total output of 140 W or more.

• For the mobile base, it is recommended to buy the original IKEA Råskog large trolley to ensure mechanical compatibility with the XLeRobot hardware.

Computing Device (Not Included)

The kit does not include any computing device.

• Typical developers can simply use their own laptop (an NVIDIA RTX 30-series or better discrete GPU is recommended) to run advanced vision, VLA inference and RL algorithms.

• Advanced users may choose Raspberry Pi, domestic ARM dev boards, or standalone compute modules such as NVIDIA Jetson Orin or NVIDIA Jetson Thor. In these cases, you are responsible for OS installation, configuration and providing stable power to the compute hardware.
