Overview

The T-Motor VL1165 KV60 is a UAV motor designed for VTOL/compound-wing propulsion systems requiring high thrust and 24S operation. It is part of the VL Series propulsion system, which is presented together with the VL200A ESC and a 42-inch class propeller.

Key Features

  • Fast propeller locking: 360° custom-angle propeller-locking designed to reduce turbulence from rotor rotation and help maintain the aerodynamic layout of fixed-wing aircraft.
  • Economical propeller locking: adaptive current/torque control by the ESC to reduce power consumption and heat. Propeller-locking power consumption is approximately 10W.
  • IP45 design statement: added dust-proof mesh and optimized motor structure described as elevating protection to IP45 to help block dust ingress and protect winding insulation performance and service life.
  • Temperature feedback & real-time monitoring for stable, controllable operation under high load.
  • Recommendation: 24S voltage; 66kg max thrust/arm; recommended MTOW (Quad) 115 to 125kg (compound-wing).
