Overview
The ALIENTECH DUO 3 is a tri‑band Signal Booster and antenna range extender designed for UAV control and video links. It operates on 2.4G, 5.2G, and 5.8G bands to enhance command and telemetry for DJI (e.g., Mavic 3 Pro/Mini 4 Pro/Air 3), Autel, Parrot and FPV drones. The device supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, spread spectrum, multi‑carrier modulation, time‑division duplexing, and digital video transmission (including OcuSync/Lightbridge), with automatic frequency switching and channel selection to help reduce interference.
Manufacturer data indicates the DUO 3 increases effective range by over two times versus DUO II and is equivalent to approximately 5–10× over stock antennas. A new chipset targets higher data throughput (stated as up to 4× faster than DUO II). MU‑MIMO with dual transmit/receive improves signal robustness. The aluminum‑alloy frame aids durability and heat dissipation, and the built‑in 3.7V, 3000 mAh battery supports extended operation. The unit is described as FCC and CE compliant.

Details

AlienTech DUO 3 Signal Booster supports 2.4G/5.2G/5.8G frequencies, featuring dual antennas and a rugged design for enhanced signal performance.

Radiation patterns for a 2450MHz signal booster are shown with a 3D gain plot on the left, color-coded from -40.2dB (blue) to 13.3dB (red), indicating directional strength. To the right, polar plots at Phi=0° and Phi=90° display gain distribution in dB. Maximum gain reaches 10–13dB, with reduced levels elsewhere. Both plots depict S_2450: LastAdaptive at 2.45GHz, illustrating performance across angles. The visualization highlights directional efficiency and coverage characteristics of the booster at the specified frequency, providing insight into its radiation behavior in three-dimensional space and principal planes.

Antenna radiation pattern at 5850MHz shows 3D gain and 2D polar plots with directional performance, achieving max gain of 18.2 dB and min of -37.6 dB.
