Overview

The CHASING E-Reel is a powered tether management system for CHASING underwater ROVs. It automatically winds and lays the tether evenly, handling up to 200 m of cable. A built-in 4800 mAh battery powers three adjustable take-up speeds, retracting 200 m in as fast as 220 s (or 3–9 minutes depending on speed). The unit is IP65 waterproof, weighs 3.5 kg, and measures 296 × 189 × 279 mm—portable for boat or shore operations. It can complete >30 automatic take-ups per full charge and supports manual retract/unwind via the included crank.
