Overview

The FEETECH SM85CL Servo Motor (model SM-85CL-C001) is a 12V RS485 bus servo designed for robotics and automation applications requiring high torque, robust construction, and closed-loop feedback. It features an 85kg.cm peak stall torque at 12V, a coreless motor with steel gears, an aluminium horn and case, and dual ball bearings. The SM85CL supports RS485 bus packet communication (half duplex asynchronous serial), assignable IDs, and baud rates from 38400bps to 1 Mbps, with feedback for position, speed, voltage, load, and temperature. It offers a 360° running degree (when 0~4095) and supports both servo mode and motor mode.
