Overview
Orbbec Femto Mega is an iToF 3D depth camera co-developed by Orbbec, Microsoft, and NVIDIA. This programmable multi‑mode depth and RGB camera streams processed images in real time over Ethernet (PoE) or USB 3.0 connections. It leverages Microsoft’s Time‑of‑Flight technology and the NVIDIA Jetson platform for in‑camera processing, delivering comprehensive depth and RGB vision without external compute. The device supports color‑to‑depth registration and provides OrbbecSDK for enhanced PoE performance, with a fully compatible API for Microsoft Azure Kinect ecosystem applications. Migration documentation is available to ease transition.
