Overview

This GNSS/GPS receiver board is based on the u-blox ZED-F9P-01B-01 module for high-precision RTK and multi-band GNSS positioning. The board is marked with: “RTK ZED F9P”, “High Precision”, “Multi-band”, “RTK”, and “GNSS BOARD”. It supports multiple GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS) and is designed for applications where accurate positioning and RTK correction workflows are required.

Key Features

  • USB-C connector for easy connection to u-center for configuration and quick viewing of NMEA sentences
  • Can connect to Raspberry Pi or other single-board computers via USB
  • Enumerates as a serial COM port over USB (independent of the UART interface)
  • Onboard 3.3V regulator to regulate 5V USB input to 3.3V required by the module
  • Power options: external 5V input, or direct 3.3V supply
  • Power note: if supplying 3.3V directly, a clean supply with minimal noise is recommended (less than 50mV VPp ripple is ideal for precise positioning)
  • 3.3V regulator capability: 600mA from 5V input; USB-C connection capable of delivering 2A

Indicator Light

PWR lamp The red light is always on when power is on, indicating that there is power input.
TX lamp The green light flashes when power is on, indicating that the port has data output.
PPS lamp When positioning is not completed, the light does not light up. After 3D positioning, the yellow light flashes.
