Overview

The Hobbywing FlyFun V5 ESC is an electronic speed controller (ESC) for brushless motors, rated 20A continuous and 30A peak, and designed for 2-4s LiPo input. It uses a 32-bit ARM M4 microprocessor with a running frequency up to 72MHz and supports transmitter programming and Hobbywing LED Program Box programming.

Key Features

• High-performance 32-bit ARM M4 microprocessor (up to 72MHz) for compatibility with various brushless motors.
• Separate DC regulator power supply for the microprocessor to improve anti-interference performance and reduce the risk of signal loss.
• DEO (Driving Efficiency Optimization) Technology to improve throttle response and driving efficiency, and reduce ESC temperature.
• Built-in high-power BEC with 5.2V output; the BEC module is separate from other ESC circuits to help maintain BEC output if other circuits fail.
• Normal/Soft/Very Soft start-up modes (select “Very Soft Start-up” mode when using EDF jet airplanes).
• Separate programming cable connection for use with a Hobbywing LED Program Box (supported).
• Brake modes: Normal/Proportional (to help shorten landing distance).
• Protection features: start-up, ESC thermal, capacitor thermal, over-current, over-load, abnormal input voltage, throttle signal loss.
