Overview

The Hobbywing Platinum 180A HV SBEC V5 is an ESC designed for 6-14S LiPo battery systems, featuring a built-in Switch Mode BEC and built-in anti-spark circuitry. It supports data return protocols for compatible devices and provides status/fault indication via LED.

  • Built-in anti-spark circuitry: reduces the electric spark generated during battery connection and helps prolong the life of battery connectors.
  • Built-in Switch Mode BEC: output voltage 5-12V adjustable (adjusted 0.1V); output current cont. 10A, peak 30A. (Feature text also notes a built-in 12V programmable BEC and max output raised from 8.4V to 12V.)
  • Multiple protection functions: start-up protection; current protection; temperature protection; input voltage abnormality protection; overload protection; throttle signal loss protection; capacitor temperature protection.

  • Data return protocol support: supports Mikado VBar System, Futaba S.BUS2 and other devices' data return protocols (parameter adjustment/status checking via compatible devices is referenced).
