Overview

The Hobbywing Platinum 260A V5 HV Series ESC is designed for 6-14S LiPo battery setups and provides 260A continuous / 400A instantaneous current capability. Two versions are shown in the published specifications: PLATINUM 260A HV SBEC V5 (with Switch Mode BEC) and PLATINUM 260A HV OPTO V5 (no BEC).

  • New double-sided hollow heat dissipation structure with additional side "window" design; switchable no/single/double fan installation design.
  • 32-bit processor with RPM accuracy algorithm; adjustable constant speed sensitivity.
  • Supports multiple backhaul/data return protocols: Mikado VBar System, Futaba S.BUS2, MSH Brain, iKON and other devices' data return protocols.
  • Synchronous rectification driving efficiency optimization technology (DEO-Driving Efficiency Optimization, Active Freewheeling).
  • Built-in anti-spark circuitry (as described on product graphics).
  • LED light for displaying statuses and fault alerts.
