The Hobbywing Platinum FW 4120SL is a fixed wing brushless motor series offered in 250KV, 500KV, and 610KV options for fixed-wing RC aircraft applications. The series highlights double dynamic balancing to help control motor vibration, along with a propeller mount locking design and an anti-slip propeller mounting seat.

Key Features

  • Double dynamic balance to control motor vibration: The rotor and the complete machine undergo dynamic balancing. The rotor dynamic balancing is completed first, then the operating conditions are simulated. A secondary dynamic balance test is performed on the motor to ensure smooth operation and eliminate any imbalance in the assembly.
  • High efficiency and strong performance: The efficiency is increased by more than 2.5% compared with competing motors of the same specification.
  • Efficient heat dissipation keeps the motor cooler: The rotor adopts a self cooling structure to further improve the motor's heat dissipation performance. The continuous running time of the motor is extended by more than 30% compared with competing motors of the same specification (the running time under heavy load is longer).
  • Patented propeller mount locking design: The locking design of the propeller mount has been patented. Labeled components include Reverse thread nut, Standard thread nut, and Propeller mount seat. The innovatively designed propeller mount locking system can effectively prevent the propeller from flying off due to the loose propeller mounting nut. Patent number accepted: 202311210278.7
  • Diamond-shaped anti-slip propeller mounting seat: The propeller mount seat adopts a diamond-shaped anti-slip design, which effectively prevents the propeller from slipping and free spinning, making it safer and more reliable.
  • Construction and materials (as stated): JNEH1200 iron core; 200°C high-temperature resistant wire; N52SH strong magnetic arc-shaped magnet design; three-phase wire outlet with custom-made silicone rubber sheath; multiple rotor locking designs (copper pad, circlip, bushing set screw); optional rear shaft propeller mount support; standard titanium alloy nuts and bracket mounting screws; modular, easy-to-disassemble design for cleaning and maintenance.
