Overview

The Hobbywing SEAKING 60A V4 is a marine electronic speed controller (ESC) for sensorless brushless RC boats up to 60cm. It combines waterproof construction, onboard programming options, and app-based configuration to support reliable boat operation.

• IP67 waterproof performance; can be used without additional waterproof treatment (dry plugs after use to help prevent rusting).
• Slim design for easier installation on narrow boats; for 60A V4: width 29mm (V4 is narrower than V3 by 25%).
• Protection functions: low voltage protection, over-temperature protection, throttle signal loss protection, overload protection.
• Built-in switch mode BEC with adjustable voltage (6V / 7.4V).
• Built-in Bluetooth function (integrated in the switch) for ESC setup and upgrade by connecting to a mobile app.
• Data logging for performance monitoring; when connected to the OTA Bluetooth module, real-time data such as throttle position, voltage, temperature, and speed can be monitored via a mobile app. Effective distance is about 5m.
• Freewheeling function: when enabled, ESC temperature is cooler; when throttle is released the boat decelerates faster; cornering control and handling are better.
• AUX external control channel for real-time parameter adjustment: connect the yellow signal wire to an unused receiver channel to adjust ESC parameters (such as reverse thrust) in real-time using the remote control. The actual function of the yellow wire corresponds to the AUX CH Function settings.
• Supports ESC firmware updates via Hobbywing USB LINK software and HW LINK mobile app (updating requires an LCD programming box or OTA module; sold separately).
• Note: The SeaKing 60A/30A V4 ESC do not have capacitor overheat protection function.

The SeaKing 60A V4 uses a slim 29mm-wide case to fit more easily in narrow boat hulls.

The Hobbywing Seaking V4 marine ESC features a compact heatsink design with protection functions like low-voltage, over-temperature, throttle signal loss, and overload protection.
