Overview
Hobbywing Skywalker 30A V2 is an ESC (electronic speed controller) for 3-4S setups, featuring adjustable Reverse Brake and Linear Reverse Brake modes to help shorten landing distance and simulate real aircraft landing. Normal Brake and Brake Disabled modes are also available, with adjustable brake amount in Normal Brake mode.
Key Features
- Reverse brake modes: Reverse Brake, Linear Reverse Brake, Normal Brake, or Brake Disabled.
- High-performance control: 32-bit ARM M0 processor up to 96MHz; supports maximum speed up to 300,000 RPM (2-pole motor).
- DEO Technology / Active Freewheeling: Fast, smooth throttle response; improved stability and flexibility; higher driving efficiency; lower ESC temperature for more reliable operation.
- Search Mode: Pulses the motor to beep to help locate an aircraft in visually obstructed environments; can also prompt battery disconnection after a set time to help prevent battery over-discharge.
- Multiple protections: Abnormal input voltage, ESC thermal, throttle signal loss (or Fail Safe), and low voltage cutoff.
