Overview

The Hobbywing XeRun V10 G4R is a ROAR sensored brushless motor for 1/10th RC cars, designed for 1/10 and 1/12 Stock racing. It uses a high-performance stator core, a built-in high-precision Hall sensor, and a high-precision balanced rotor for smooth, linear throttle response. An exposed stator-core can design and a large rear opening support airflow and heat dissipation, while a dual sensor interface helps accommodate different wiring layouts.

Note: Due to differences in competition rules, there are two versions: the standard (G4) version for IFMAR/EFRA rules and the ROAR (G4R) version for ROAR rules. The Standard version is in the EFRA and IFMAR list; the ROAR version is in the ROAR certification list. The specific version used is subject to the rules announced by the competition.

  • ROAR version: thermally conductive winding epoxy fills the coil caps to increase heat dissipation; temperature is about 15% lower for the same input power
  • Copper on the motor is 50% thicker to support lower internal resistance and greater heat capacity
  • Internal resistance is about 3% lower than that of G4
  • Open core can and all-new rotor help airflow through the motor to maximize cooling (rotor heat dissipation is a patent design)
  • Easy maintenance modular design for regular service and cleaning
  • Wear-resistant silent gasket: updated nylon mixed shims; gasket wear resistance increased by approximately 2 times
  • Standard rotor: PN 30820450. Optional rotor: PN 30820407 (stronger magnetized rotor) for medium/large track Blinky competitions or high-traction tracks
