Overview

The Hobbywing XeRun XR8 PRO G3 is a 1/8 competition sensored brushless electronic speed controller (ESC) for racing truck use with 2-4S LiPo input. It is designed for smooth control and high power, and supports advanced features such as smart freewheeling, dual brake mode, turbo/boost timing, and real-time data recording (with an OTA module box).

Note: Use appropriate settings provided by the factory or team drivers. Check operating temperature to maximize electronics performance. Incorrect settings may damage the ESC or motor.

• Capacitor thermal protection to help prevent capacitor overload-related failure; note: if ESC overheating protection is off and used on a flat road vehicle, add a capacitor pack to help avoid capacitor overheating
• Superior dustproof protection: IP5X rated; includes a small protective cover for fan protection
• Custom ultra-soft 11AWG silicone wire
• Frameless fan blade design with specially formulated material to reduce fan defects caused by impact from small stones, sand, and other foreign objects
• Intelligent fan start/stop with noise reduction and power saving; fan turns on automatically when temperature rises to the pre-set value

The XeRun XR8 Pro G3 keeps a compact 54.5 x 36.5 x 36.6 mm footprint with an integrated cooling fan for tight 1/8-scale installs.

The Hobbywing XeRun XR8 Pro G3 ESC features Advanced Boost and Turbo Timing Technology for racing-focused throttle response tuning.

The Hobbywing XeRun XR8 Pro ESC features an IP5X dustproof rating and includes a small protective cover to help shield the cooling fan.

The XeRun XR8 PRO G3 ESC is shown installed alongside a XeRun 4268 G3 motor, with dual brake mode support for tuning braking feel.

The XR8 Pro’s frameless cooling fan uses intelligent start/stop operation to reduce noise and save power when temperatures are low.

The XeRun XR8 Pro G3 ESC uses a fan-cooled case and is marketed for higher efficiency and lower heat generation, with a note of up to 15°C lower max temperature versus the XR8 Pro G2.

Custom ultra-soft 11AWG silicone wire helps keep ESC power leads flexible for cleaner routing in 1/8 builds.

Real-time app monitoring with the OTA Bluetooth module displays key running data like RPM, ESC voltage/current, and ESC and motor temperature.
