Overview
The Hobbywing XeRun XR8 PRO G3 is a 1/8 competition sensored brushless electronic speed controller (ESC) for racing truck use with 2-4S LiPo input. It is designed for smooth control and high power, and supports advanced features such as smart freewheeling, dual brake mode, turbo/boost timing, and real-time data recording (with an OTA module box).
Note: Use appropriate settings provided by the factory or team drivers. Check operating temperature to maximize electronics performance. Incorrect settings may damage the ESC or motor.

- Compared with XR8 Pro G2, maximum temperature reduced by approximately 15°C
- Advanced Boost & Turbo Timing Technology (supports up to 48 degrees of Boost and Turbo Timing)
- Dual brake mode (closed-loop torque brake control mode, also known as disc brake mode; traditional braking mode also retained)
- Built-in reverse polarity protection circuit
- Real-time data recording function (after connecting the OTA module box); effective distance is only about 5 m due to Bluetooth transmission distance
- Capacitor thermal protection to help prevent capacitor overload-related failure; note: if ESC overheating protection is off and used on a flat road vehicle, add a capacitor pack to help avoid capacitor overheating
- Superior dustproof protection: IP5X rated; includes a small protective cover for fan protection
- Custom ultra-soft 11AWG silicone wire
- Frameless fan blade design with specially formulated material to reduce fan defects caused by impact from small stones, sand, and other foreign objects
- Intelligent fan start/stop with noise reduction and power saving; fan turns on automatically when temperature rises to the pre-set value
