Overview
The Hobbywing XeRun XR10 PRO Legacy Edition is a sensored brushless ESC for 1/10th RC racing cars, designed for 2S LiPo power systems and competition-style tuning.
Key Features
- 9 select-to-use profiles applicable to 1/10th RC car racing.
- Independent program port for powering an external fan or connecting an LCD Program Box Pro or OTA Programmer.
- Variable frequency regulation of PWM and brake frequencies for more precise drive and brake control.
- Softening function for power delivery tuning and improved driving efficiency (HOBBYWING Softening).
- Built-in reverse polarity protection circuit.
- Full reverse polarity protection of the entire power system can only be achieved when using the optional non-polarized capacitor.
- The standard capacitor is not protected against reverse polarity; if the battery is connected incorrectly, the capacitor may be damaged; however, the ESC itself will not be affected.
- 32-bit M4 processor design highlights: lightning-fast response, large data volume, more accurate calculations, function optimization and expansion.
- Auto activation cooling behavior: when the temperature rises, the fan automatically turns on.
- Data logging via OTA Bluetooth module and HW LINK mobile app (real-time monitoring and built-in memory recording).
- OTA data logging note: due to Bluetooth transmission limits, effective range is approximately 5 meters.
- Firmware upgrade supported via Hobbywing LCD Program Box Pro or OTA Programmer (sold separately).
- Protections: low-voltage cutoff protection, ESC and motor thermal protection, throttle signal loss protection, reverse polarity protection.

Details

The XeRun XR10 Pro Legacy Edition ESC features a compact, fan-cooled design to help manage heat in RC setups.

Built-in reverse polarity protection helps prevent damage from incorrect battery connections during setup.

The XeRun XR10 PRO Legacy Edition ESC is built around a 32-bit M4 processor and includes a SMART Heat Sensor for temperature monitoring.

An integrated cooling fan and easy-access power button help keep the ESC running consistently during demanding runs.

Pairing the XR10 PRO ESC with an external OTA Bluetooth module lets you adjust parameters and update firmware from a smartphone app.

The XeRun XR10 PRO Legacy Edition ESC includes a softening function designed to help with control in tricky track conditions.

Real-time data logging with the OTA Bluetooth module and HW Link app lets you monitor throttle, voltage, temperature, and RPM, with an effective range of about 5 meters.

Motor wiring follows the A-to-A, B-to-B, and C-to-C phase labels, with the sensor wire connecting the ESC to the motor sensor port.
