JRT MB2D61 Laser Distance Module Range Finder Sensor is a compact distance measuring optic module designed for accurate, mid-range measurements. It offers millimeter-level precision at 10 Hz, continuous measurement support, and a Class 2/II laser at 620–690 nm <1 mW. The module integrates easily into OEM systems, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and PLC projects.

Debugging and Testing

Please contact the supplier to download JRT serial port test software. After cables and a USB communication converter are correctly connected:

1. Open the test software.
2. Select the correct port.
3. Set the correct baud rate.
4. Open the port.
5. Click Measure for single measurement.
6. Click ConMeasure for continuous measurement; use StopMeasure to exit continuous mode.

Real-time parsed distance records are displayed in the data record box on the right.
