V122 VTOL Drone Motor Overview

The MAD V122 IPE V2.0 motor is a high-performance, anticorrosive motor designed for VTOL drones. With a stator size of D:72 × 33.5 mm and an IP35 degree of protection, it ensures durability and reliable operation in various conditions. The motor features a 19 pole pair configuration, varnished wire capable of withstanding 220°C, and a maximum motor balance temperature of 180°C.

Designed for efficient heat dissipation, this motor includes centrifugal heat dissipation and multiple propeller mounting hole configurations (D:24 M4×4, D:30 M5×4, and D:50 M6×4). The shaft diameter is 20 mm, and the motor includes 6904ZZ*2 bearings for smooth operation. Additionally, it supports a cable length of 150 mm with extended enameled wires, ensuring easy connectivity.

With a no-load current of 1.5A/30V, the motor weighs 1600 g and can handle a maximum current of 114 A, delivering a thrust of up to 48 kg. It operates at a nominal voltage of 24S lipo battery, with an internal resistance of 58.6mΩ, and provides a maximum power output of 10248W and maximum torque of 19.8 Nm. The motor is suitable for large UAVs with recommended propellers of 40x13.1 and 42x14, supporting take-off weights up to 76kg for quadcopters and 152kg for octocopters, with a single rotor take-off weight ranging from 16kg to 20kg.
