Maestro MK100 Project

Objective: A large UAV will transport 10 small drones over a distance of 100 km. Upon arrival, the small drones will initiate their missions, controlled from the main ground station. The flying range of the small drones is approximately 10-20 km.

Solution: Our MK100 video datalink is ideal for this project. It can transmit video data and RC signals over a distance of more than 100 km (ground to air). With a maximum transmission speed of 30Mbps, the MK100 allows users to control up to 15 small drones from the ground station.

Transmission Details

Ground-to-Air Transmission:

• Primary Link: The MK100 (100km) video data link connects the large UAV to the ground station. A customized MK100 repeater (air unit) ensures seamless integration with MK100 ground units and MK22 air units (22km range), facilitating communication between the mother UAV and small drones.
• Security: An additional datalink (450 MHz) can be added to the MK100 to protect the large UAV from interference, preventing third-party hijacking, disruption, or jamming of communication channels.

MK100 Features

Frequency Hopping Mode:

• Supports 800MHz (806MHz - 825MHz), 1.4GHz (1427MHz - 1447MHz), and optional 400MHz (customized for anti-interference).

Integrated System:

• The MK100 is an advanced UAV video link system, continuing the design and functionality of the Maestro series. It supports simultaneous transmission of HD video, data, and SBUS signals up to 100km, enabled by advanced RF technology.

Encryption Security:

• Equipped with a code-to-code button for fast code matching without additional software. Supports automatic encryption via web page or Maestro Assistant, allowing users to customize private communication keys for enhanced security.

  Features one-touch encryption with AES encryption technology for secure data transmission.

Working Modes:

• Supports point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and repeater modes. Users can easily switch modes and adjust channel bandwidth (3MHz/5MHz/10MHz/20MHz) through the web page or Maestro Assistant.

Dual Power Supply Mode & Antenna:

• The ground unit integrates a high-gain flat-panel antenna, optimizing signal strength and alignment in real-time via an OLED display. The unit features a universal battery interface for quick power supply and a compact design for easy transport.
