Overview
Meskernel LDK-80 is a Distance Measurement Instruments Mini Distance Sensor module using a visible red light laser for precise laser distance measurement. It delivers up to 80 m indoor range (dependent on target reflectivity), millimeter-level resolution, and compact dimensions suitable for integration in industrial and embedded applications.
Laser Distance Module is designed for precise measurement, which has high accuracy, fast measuring speed, easy to install and operate. The module is applicable to daily measurement, industrial measurement, warehouse monitoring, traffic investigation, and robots.

Note
Measurement conditions
Under bad measure condition, like environment with strong light or the diffuse reflectance of measuring point over-high or low, the accuracy would have bigger amount of error: ±1 mm+50PPM.
Use of reflector
Under strong light or bad diffuse reflectance of target, please use a reflector.
Custom temperature range
Operating temperature -10 ~50 ℃ can be customized.
Fast mode frequency
8Hz only be activated when Fast continuous measuring mode is using.

Meskernel LDK-80 Laser Sensor with USB to TTL, RS485, RS232, Bluetooth, and Multifunction Converter interfaces.

Laser rangefinder module connects to master board via UART and GPIO; includes laser diode, lens, U8xx chip, pull-up resistors, and 3.3V power.

LR Control V2.0 interface displays serial port and laser module parameters. Settings include port selection, baud rate set at 19200, and options for RTS and DTR. Buttons allow laser activation, measurement, tracking start, parameter retrieval, status check, top reading, measurement offset, and clearing data. Language options are available in Chinese and English. The software is developed by Chengdu Nimble Measure Tech. Co., Ltd., timestamped October 20, 2023, at 15:18:52.
