Overview

The Hobbywing QUICRUN 3650 G2 is a sensored brushless motor designed for 1/12 touring cars and also suitable for 1/10 & 1/12 cars and trucks in SPORT/STOCK class use. High efficiency is intended to provide more power while keeping motor temperature lower.

Key Features

  • Linear & smooth control: built-in Hall sensor (non-adjustable end bell) with a high precision, balanced rotor for smooth, linear power delivery.
  • Top-quality components: heat-resistant magnet, heat-resistant wires, and name-brand bearings.
  • Dustproof design where motor leads exit.
  • Gold-plated lockable connector fastened by screws to reduce the chance of connection loss.
  • Detachable / re-buildable design: end bell can be removed for maintenance and replacement of common wearing parts (rotor and sensor module, excluding bearings).
  • Great heat-dissipation: silicon O-ring between end bell and stator helps conduct inner heat to the motor case to maximize cooling for extreme cooling conditions.
  • Plug-and-play wiring: customized 3.5mm low impedance bullet connectors soldered to the motor wires for stable ESC-to-motor connections.
  • Compatible (with QuicRun-10BL60-Sensored ESC): pairing can provide a smooth and linear power band.

Applications

  • 1/10th, 1/12th on-road: race or drift touring cars, F1, M vehicles, etc.
  • Off-road: buggies, 2WD SCTs, trucks.
  • STOCK/SPORT class competitions (motor T count per race organizer rules).
  • Beginner practice use.
  • Rock crawlers (applicable to 21.5T and 25.5T motors).

Gear Selection (Important)

  • Operating temperature: during operation, motor temperature should be lower than 90 °C (194 °F). Temperatures above 90 °C may demagnetize the magnet and may melt coils, and can affect electronics due to strong current. Selecting the right gear ratio helps prevent overheating.
  • Principle: start with a very small pinion and check ESC and motor temperatures frequently throughout a run. If temperatures remain stable and low, slowly increase the pinion (more teeth) while monitoring temperatures to determine safe gearing. Continue monitoring as climate and track conditions change.
  • Suggested gear ratios: reference values when setting the ESC to Zero Timing Mode.
