Overview

Designed for RC crawler electronic speed controller (ESC) setups, the Hobbywing QUICRUN Outer 3530SL is an outer-rotor, sensorless brushless motor option in 1700KV or 2200KV for 1/10 and 1/12 crawlers. It is compatible with the QuicRun WP 10BL80 Crawler ESC and comes standard with 3.5mm male connectors for plug-and-play installation (no soldering required).

Installation Notes

1. Installation of the motor: There are 4 motor mounting holes in M3 specification, and the mounting holes are 4mm in depth. Before installing the motor on the vehicle, carefully confirm whether the specifications of the screws are appropriate to avoid damage due to excessive length.
2. How to connect the motor to an ESC: There is no specific wire sequence requirement for the connection between the motor and the ESC. The #A/#B/#C three wires of the motor and ESC can be connected at will. If the motor rotation is in the opposite direction, exchange any two wires, or set the "Motor Rotation" parameter of the ESC.
3. Inspection: Before powering on the ESC, check the motor installation and the order of all connections.

Details

QUICRUN Outer 3530SL 1700KV/2200KV motors are rated for 2–4S LiPo and use a 35mm x 30mm can with a 3.175mm shaft and 4x M3 mounting pattern.

The motor connects to the ESC’s three phase leads (A/B/C) in any order, and swapping any two wires reverses rotation.

Hobbywing QuicRun Outer 3530SL brushless motors are offered in 1700KV or 2200KV versions for crawler builds.

Standard 3.5mm male connectors allow plug-and-play hookup with the QuicRun WP 10BL80 Crawler ESC without soldering.
