Overview

reComputer J2012 is a hand-size Edge AI Computer built with the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX 16GB production module and an aluminium case. It delivers up to 21 TOPS AI performance from a 384-core NVIDIA Volta GPU and 6-core NVIDIA Carmel ARMv8.2 CPU, in a compact 130mm x120mm x 50mm enclosure. The system comes pre-installed with NVIDIA JetPack 4.6 to support the complete Jetson software stack and developer tools for rapid deployment of computer vision and edge inference workloads.

  • Due to component shortage, J2012 is discontinued; reComputer J2022 is recommended as an alternative.
  • Name change: "reComputer Jetson‑20‑1‑H1" has changed to "reComputer J2011".
  • JetPack 4.6 is pre‑installed; power on to use. Refer to the wiki for reflashing JetPack and storage expansion.
  • GPIO caution: using some GPIO libraries may cause floating voltage (1.2V~2V). Normal voltage is 3V. Aftersales/warranty does not apply to this issue. See NVIDIA document: GPIO Usage Considerations.

The Xavier NX, AGX, Orin, and T4 are Jetson platforms suitable for AI inferencing. The DLAZ GPU supports DLAT applications. PeopleNet-ResNet34 is a model for person detection with a resolution of 960x544. INT8 precision is used.
