Overview
reComputer J2022 is a hand‑size Edge AI Computer built around the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX 16GB production module. It delivers up to 21 TOPS AI performance with a compact form factor of 130mm x 120mm x 58.5mm (with case). The system integrates 384‑core NVIDIA Volta architecture GPU with 48 Tensor Cores and a 6‑core NVIDIA Carmel Arm®v8.2 64‑bit CPU. It comes with NVIDIA JetPack pre‑installed (JetPack 4.6 shown in product images) and a rich set of I/O including 4x USB 3.1 Type‑A, 1x USB Type‑C (device mode), 1x RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI, and DP. The reComputer J202 carrier board provides M.2 Key E for Wi‑Fi, M.2 Key M for SSD, RTC (2‑pin and socket), CAN, and a 40‑pin expansion header. Desk or wall‑mounting is supported.
Note
- For optimal performance, Seeed recommends using 128GB / 256GB / 512GB / 1TB SSDs from Seeed. Some SSDs may only be compatible with specific JetPack versions, which can cause the device to fail to function properly; this issue may also be present with official NVIDIA dev kits.
- This product does not include an SSD upon delivery. Please choose an SSD in the “also add” section.

1. What is the main difference between the reComputer J2021 and J2022?
The difference is memory. The module on reComputer J2021 is Jetson Xavier NX 8GB. If more memory is required, J2022 with Jetson Xavier NX 16GB may meet your needs.
2. Can I install the Jetson Nano module on the reComputer J2022 carrier board?
Yes. The reComputer J202 carrier board supports both Jetson Nano and Jetson Xavier modules.
3. What type of RTC is recommended for the RTC socket?
CR1220 and ML1220. The non‑rechargeable design of the RTC circuit allows both rechargeable and non‑rechargeable RTC batteries to be used.
