Overview

reComputer J4012B is an Edge AI Computer powered by NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB (Super Mode NOT Supported). The reComputer J401B series is an iteration on reComputer Classic series. It is a compact system with rich interfaces: 2x USB 3.2, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet, M.2 Key E for Wi-Fi module, M.2 Key M for SSD, mini-PCIe for LTE module, CAN, 40-pin expansion and more. Pre-installed JetPack 5.1.3 enables fast deployment.

Applications

• Smart Lamppost: Smart lampposts monitor traffic with sensors and transmit data for better traffic control. They integrate solar power, store energy for night use, and may feed excess power to the grid.
• EV Battery Swapping/Charging System: Battery swapping eases EV range anxiety. Charging stations, connected to the smart grid, optimize charging times. Some EVs can also supply power to the grid.
• Smart Recycling Center: Sensors in recycling bins reduce waste collection trips. Energy-efficient equipment runs during off-peak hours, and recycled materials are used for smart grid and EV components.

Details

Control and UART header, M.2 key E, CAN header, RTC 2-pin socket, fan header, LO-pin expansion header with GPIO, I2C, and UART interfaces. MIPI-CSI camera connectors are also present, along with a 260-pin SODIMM connector and an M.2 key M. An optional PoE backpower header and power LED are included. A DC power jack, USB Type-C, HDMI ports (2x), SIM card slot, mini-PCIE for LTE module, and gigabit Ethernet port complete the features.
