Overview

The RPLiDAR A1M8‑R6 is a 360° Laser Scanner Kit (2D LIDAR) from SLAMTEC for real‑time mapping, localization, and environment modeling. It performs omnidirectional 360° scanning with up to 12 m distance range (A1M8‑R6 measurement performance) and outputs 2D point clouds for SLAM and navigation. Based on laser triangulation, it works excellently in indoor environments and in outdoor environments without sunlight.
