Overview
SO-ARM101 is a Robot Arm Servo Motor Kit Pro optimized for imitation and reinforcement learning with LeRobot and Hugging Face projects. This open-source, low-cost kit includes servo motors, adapter boards, and cables for a complete leader–follower arm setup. The kit is DIY-friendly and designed for rapid prototyping with abundant resources. Important: the motor kit does not include 3D-printed parts; order the 3D-printed skeleton together if needed. Seeed Studio provides hardware for LeRobot.

What’s new in SO-ARM101
- Wiring optimization: mitigates disconnections previously seen at joint 3 and removes range-of-motion limits.
- Optimized leader arm gear ratios: improved performance without external gearboxes.
- New functionality: leader arm can follow the follower arm in real time to support RL policies and human intervention.
