Overview

The SteadyWin DD6015 is a brushless DC direct drive Robot Motor intended for collaborative robot arms, joint modules and integrated servo applications. The DD6015 provides direct-drive control with single-turn absolute encoder feedback and communicates over RS485 and CAN for joint-level control in humanoid robots, robotic arms, exoskeletons, quadrupeds and AGV/ARU platforms.

Key Features

Direct-drive brushless DC construction

Eliminates reduction gearing to reduce backlash and improve repeatability for collaborative robot arm joints and precision actuators.

Integrated absolute encoder

Single-turn absolute encoder with 14 bit resolution for accurate position sensing at power-up.

Dual communications

Supports RS485 and CAN interfaces for straightforward integration with common robot controllers and distributed drives.

Compact, low-inertia design

Low rotor inertia and small mass for fast dynamic response and reduced vibration in high-acceleration motion profiles.
