Overview
The SteadyWin GIM6010-36 Planetary Reducer Robot Motor is a compact, high-torque drive unit designed for demanding robotic motion applications. With a 36:1 steel planetary gearbox, 18 N.m nominal output torque, 14-bit encoder feedback, and IP54 protection, it is suitable for humanoid robots, robotic arms, exoskeletons, quadruped robots, AGV platforms, and other advanced robotic systems.
Key Features
Powerful and flexible performance
Supports operation across a wide 12-56 V input range (48 V and 24 V nominal options) with an output speed range of 50-97 rpm after reduction, depending on the matched driver (SDC102 or SDC301). This allows the motor to adapt to diverse robot motor system requirements.
High torque output
Delivers 18 N.m nominal torque with stall torque up to 41-45 N.m. A torque constant of 0.68-4.38 N.m/A (depending on configuration) ensures robust performance under heavy load and low-speed conditions.
High power density and compact form factor
Rated power is 192-221 W in a compact housing starting from 76 x 45.50 mm (without driver) and 76 x 56.50 mm (with driver), with motor weight from 546 g (without driver) to 574 g (with driver). This combination of high power density and compact size helps maximize space utilization and system agility in integrated robotic joints.
Precision engineering for robotics
The 36:1 steel planetary reducer with 15 arcmin backlash, 14 pole pairs, and 14-bit encoder resolution delivers precise positioning and smooth motion control. It is engineered for robotic joints, mechanical dog joints, and other multi-axis robot mechanisms requiring accurate, repeatable movement.
Durability and protection
The motor offers IP54 protection, an operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, and is designed for axial loads up to 250 N and radial loads up to 1000 N. Noise level is kept below 65 dB, supporting use in indoor and collaborative robotic environments.
Control and feedback
Supports CAN and 485 (SDC102) or CAN (SDC301) communication, with second encoder support (YES) and 14-bit encoder resolution. Separate encoder is not supported, while custom brake support is available, making the system suitable for safety-critical or power-off holding applications.
