Overview

WitMotion SINDT is an industrial dual-axis tilt sensor / AHRS inclinometer built around an MPU6050 IMU with a built-in Kalman fusion algorithm. It measures X- and Y-axis angles while outputting 3-axis acceleration, angular velocity, magnetic/quaternion attitude data. The unit uses an aluminum housing with IP67 sealing and ships with free PC software for configuration, visualization and logging. Designed for long-term deployment in harsh environments, it supports TTL/RS232/RS485 (CAN optional) interfaces and a wide 5–36 V supply.

Key Features

  • Dual-axis tilt (SINDT), range: 0~±90°; static accuracy: 0.05°, dynamic accuracy: 0.1°

  • Output data: 3-axis Acc, 3-axis Gyro, Quaternion, 2-axis Angle (pitch/roll)

  • Output interfaces: TTL, RS232, RS485 (CAN shown as optional)

  • Data rate / frequency response: DC response, 0.2–200 Hz

  • Resolution: 0.01° (bandwidth 5 Hz)

  • Zero-temp drift: ±0.01°/°C; Temp coefficient ≤150 ppm°/°C

  • Ruggedized: Aluminum shell, IP67, oil-/wear-/wide-temperature-resistant cable

  • High seismic performance: >3500 g; anti-vibration: 10 grms, 10–1000 Hz

  • Fast response: 0.01 s; power-on time: 0.2 s

  • Power: 5–36 V input (spec table lists 9–36 V limits); typical 60 mA

  • Free PC software; sample programs for STM32, Arduino serial library, and 51-MCU serial routines

Applications

Lift platforms • Tower cranes • Inclination turntables • Car chassis tuning • Medical equipment • Solar inclination monitoring

Installation Notes

  • Mount on a flat, smooth, rigid reference surface; avoid tilt between the sensor base and measured surface.

  • Keep the sensor axis parallel to the measured axis (see figures).

  • Incorrect mounting (inclined base or axis misalignment) introduces angle error.

  • SINDT inclinometer sensor with 1 m cable

  • WitMotion PC software (free download)

  • Example code: STM32, Arduino serial, 51-MCU serial

Note: The product does not provide schematic source code (as shown).
